About Celgard

Celgard is a global leader in the development and production of specialty microporous membranes, and is one of the world's largest suppliers to the lithium battery industry.

Our battery separators are used in disposable lithium and rechargeable lithium-ion batteries for personal electronic devices such as notebook computers, mobile telephones, and digital cameras, and new applications including power tools, reserve power and grid management systems, and electric drive vehicles (EDVs).

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, Celgard operates its worldwide business from battery separator manufacturing facilities in the United States, Korea, and China, and has additional sales and technical service centers located throughout North America, Asia, and Europe.
