CELGARD Participates in Development of New IEEE Standards

Dr. John Zhang, Celgard Vice President of Applications Development and Polypore Senior Fellow, was an active participant and the Celgard representative in the creation of IEEE Standard 1725?, a performance standard for rechargeable batteries used in cellular telephones. Dr. Zhang currently serves as the Cell Subgroup Chairman in the development of IEEE Standard 1625?, which applies to rechargeable batteries used in portable computing applications.
