Celgard® Specialty Microporous Membranes
In addition to our industry-standard monolayer PP, monolayer PE, and trilayer PP/PE/PP battery separators, Celgard also offers a variety of specialty membranes for use in energy storage or other barrier-type applications.
Celgard® separators can be laminated to a non-woven backing, surfactant-treated, or otherwise tailored to meet unique application requirements.
Potential features of Celgard® specialty membranes include:
- Increased strength and puncture resistance
- Enhanced electrolyte absorption
- Hydrophobic or hydrophilic capabilities
- Low foaming performance
