Celgard® Monolayer PP separators have enabled technology for the commercial development of primary, single-use lithium batteries since the early 1980s.  Today, Celgard is a global leader in supplying battery separators for primary lithium batteries used in photographic equipment, medical devices, and various military applications.

Specialty Applications

Because of their unique characteristics and reliable performance, Celgard® separators can also be used in a broad range of specialty energy storage and other barrier-type applications, including:
